How to create a Travel Agency website with no coding skils

I created the part that shows vacations posts in a couple of minutes with this plugin: Panda Live Search & Custom Fields.

First of all you can use any WordPress theme, and you need to have a self-hosted WordPress install. In my video tutorial i used the Pix WordPress theme, you can find it here: http://wp.pixolette.com/themes/the-pix-wordpress-theme

Second, you can use this plugin to customise you website like adding Custom Posts, Custom Fileds and the nice Live Search panel with Filters for custom fields.

In this video there are 4 chapters:

  1. The result
  2. Add Custom Post: vacations
  3. Add custom fields for the Vacations posts
  4. Add Live Search and choose filters to show

Between you will see how to create a page to list your posts from Vacations  (copy-paste the vacations shortcode in a page and publish it). The same is with the Search page: copy-paste the search vacations shortcode in a page and publish it. No coding skils required.

How to install a WordPress plugin in 2 ways – demo with Panda Reviews

Hello everyone,

In this tutorial I will show you 2 ways how to install a plugin on your WordPress website.

Let’s see, you want to instal a plugin to your WordPress website.

Metod 1:

In case that this plugin it’s in WordPress Directory, you have to open your WordPress admin panel and go to Plugins. There choose “Add new” and type the name of the plugin. Now go and select “Install”. From version 4.6 it will not redirect you to plugins page so, wait until it’s installed and them click the same button that now shows “Activate”.

If you want to install more plugins and them activate them, first Install all of them and then go to plugins page and select all new installs and bulk activate them.

Method 2:

Download the plugin from WordPress Directory or any market place from where you bought/download and then go to your site on the plugins page.  Here choose “Add New” and “Upload” to select you file from your pc. After this you can activate the plugin or upload another file to install.

2b.

You could use FTP to upload your plugin, but is more easy through your website plugins page.

If you want to choose FTP, you need a program for this (I use FileZilla), connect to your server, fiind your “wp-content”directory because there it will be the “plugins” directory. Just copy your directory with the plugin and then return to your plugins page on your admin panel, and “voila” your plugins appears here. You have to select it and click install in order to work.

Here you cand see an example video.

I used in this example the WordPress plugin Panda Reviews & Voting System.
You can download it from here: http://wp.pixolette.com/plugins/panda-reviews-wordpress-plugin/
It is free.
Be good to your plugins.
